Screenings let you know your risks and help you manage them. Use the chart to see which screenings you may need. If your provider orders a screening or a test for you, you may want to ask questions like:

• What should I do to prepare? (e.g. avoid certain foods or medication)
• What do the results mean?
• How accurate are the screening and test results?

Mammogram Screenings

The Meridian Medicaid provider network offers mammogram screenings and other women’s health services throughout Illinois.

To schedule a mammogram, call or see your primary care provider and ask for a mammogram order. Then schedule your mammogram at your preferred location. Please verify prior to making an appointment that the provider still accepts Meridian patients.
