Enhanced support options: Provider Engagement team reminders
Date: 12/01/25
As part of our ongoing commitment to swiftly resolve issues and make your interactions with Meridian more seamless and effective, we are sharing refreshed guidance about available support options.
Updated Provider Engagement Intake Form
Our Provider Engagement team has enhanced the Provider Engagement Intake Form for improved clarity and ease of use. The form now features streamlined selections designed to help you quickly identify the appropriate category for your inquiry. These changes aim to ensure your submission is routed correctly.
Please note: Providers with an assigned Provider Engagement Account Manager (PEAM) are advised to contact their PEAM directly by phone or email. If you are unsure if your organization has an assigned PEAM, please use the intake form.
Getting Assistance: Important Reminders
- Provider portals: Available 24/7
Self-service capabilities are available through our secure provider portals. This is the fastest way to verify member eligibility, manage claims, request authorizations, review care gaps, and submit member referrals (such as a notification of pregnancy). - Provider Services: Your first point of contact
The Provider Services call center is equipped to assist providers with a wide variety of inquiries and should be your initial point of contact.
Provider Services representatives are available at 866-606-3700 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Contractual matters
All contract-related issues—including amendments and rate negotiations—must be submitted directly through the Network Intake Form for processing by the Provider Network & Development team. The Provider Engagement team does not manage contract-related requests. - Claims concerns
If you have a claims-related issue, complete a reconsideration request before contacting the Provider Engagement Team. Submit a reconsideration request within 90 days from the explanation of payment via the secure provider portal. - Practice and practitioner updates
Any updates or changes to provider information should be submitted to our Provider Data Management team via the Provider Updates section on our website. Our online tool supports updates to demographics, TIN/NPI changes, and the ability to add/term providers (including an option to upload a new roster template reflecting multiple practitioner updates).
