CHICAGO (Jan. 20, 2022) —Meridian, a leader in government-sponsored healthcare programs, has brought its Illinois Medicaid, Medicare-Medicaid, and Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) plan together under a refreshed Meridian brand. The new branding highlights Meridian’s focus on supporting individual members, no matter where they are in life—because when people have uninterrupted access to the care they need, communities get healthier, and everyone thrives.
Under the new naming structure, MeridianHealth is now the Meridian Medicaid Plan, MeridianComplete is now the Meridian Medicare-Medicaid Plan, and the MLTSS plan is now known as the Meridian Managed Long Term Services & Supports Plan. These new names simplify Meridian’s offerings in Illinois and allow all three plans to highlight the value that Meridian offers to members, providers, and the community at large.
That value is brought to life in the refreshed branding. With brighter, bolder colors, photography that reflects each audience, and new messaging that meets members where they are, the Meridian brand communicates that Meridian is a member-first organization. The branding helps members understand that Meridian is here for them, and is always there to connect them to the care they need and benefits to help them feel their best.
“Starting today, we will look and sound like the company that we are—a company that puts members at the heart of everything we do,” said James Kiamos, Meridian of Illinois Plan President and CEO. “Because we know that by putting members first, we’re putting communities first, improving the health of cities and towns across Illinois.”
